Supporting OSER Educational & Biosphere Systems

OLDSCHOOL EXOTICS & REPTILES LLC is a for-profit Florida registered LLC and an FWC-licensed Class III wildlife exhibitor based in Williston, Florida. OSER provides mobile educational outreach at customer venues throughout Greater Central Florida, with program origins in documented educational work in Marin County, California.

State-issued authorizations include ESC Permit #891-008553 and Class III wildlife import permit IMP-III #818-003099.

Some individuals and organizations choose to voluntarily support OSER beyond standard services. That support can help advance clearly defined projects while preserving the care, documentation, environmental stability, and welfare continuity central to our work.

Each fundraiser identifies its own purpose and intended use of funds. Our current GoFundMe is dedicated to the Florida education expansion described below.

Why Support OSER

OSER’s approach centers on long-term stability and calm educational engagement.

  • Voluntary animal participation
  • Predictable, low-stress environments
  • Species-appropriate living conditions
  • Longitudinal welfare observation
  • Founder-led educational outreach and ambassador interaction

Animals are never forced into educational engagement. If an animal chooses not to participate, it is excused from that interaction and another suitable, willing ambassador can be selected.

Primary handling remains founder-only. Audience interaction is controlled and welfare-monitored under OSER’s operational protocols.

Voluntary support helps make defined projects possible while allowing time and resources for responsible preparation and care.

OSER’s Participation Standards
  • Animals engage only when behavior indicates comfort and willingness
  • Ambassador candidates undergo a six-month internal qualification process governed by OSER’s proprietary CSECM doctrine
  • Qualification depends on individual readiness, not simply time passed
  • Ambassador roles may be visual-only or include appropriate supervised tactile interaction
  • Interaction limits are adjusted for each individual
  • Rest and recovery periods are respected
  • Animals live in enriched, species-appropriate environments outside programs
  • Welfare indicators are tracked over time to guide decisions
The Work Behind OSER’s Programs

OSER’s wider operations involve:

  • Long-term animal care and behavioral support
  • Rehabilitation and extended-care cases
  • Maintenance and refinement of biosphere systems
  • Educational outreach for schools, senior communities, and youth programs
  • Structured documentation, case studies, and recordkeeping
  • Environmental monitoring and continuity-based welfare records

These activities describe OSER’s broader work. Donations to the Florida expansion fundraiser are allocated to that campaign’s stated expansion purposes.

Voluntary Support: Florida Education Expansion

The initial Florida launch includes Reptile, Cuddly Creatures, and Hybrid seminars featuring OSER’s existing ESC-permitted reptile and small mammal ambassadors. The fundraiser supports additional ambassador candidates and their associated expansion needs.

Our current $35,000 fundraiser supports additional mammal candidates for the Cuddly Creatures program, including acquisition, housing and setup, veterinary intake, acquisition-related transport, six months of qualification-period care, applicable taxes and fees, and contingency.

Donations beyond the initial goal will support a separately budgeted reptile ambassador expansion. Final animal selections and supplier quotes remain subject to confirmation.

The earliest availability for Florida educational program scheduling is January 1, 2027. Programs are delivered at customer venues throughout Greater Central Florida, with participation guided by individual ambassador readiness, animal welfare, and venue conditions.

The button opens GoFundMe in a new tab. Support is voluntary, and sharing the fundraiser also helps.
